The idea behind Strategy Checker™

Strategy Checker™ is the result of months of work by Unger Academy®’s Research and Development team and was developed specifically for those who systematically trade in the markets.

This instrument was created to provide an effective solution for all traders who want to trade without worrying about what is happening to their live strategies.

Strategy Checker™ is a highly innovative instrument that is unparalleled in the market. It aims to improve the overall live trading experience both operationally and emotionally.

We know that those who choose to trade systematically do so for two main reasons:

  • They want to trade without having to manually send orders to the broker so that they can focus on their work or other activities 
  • ​They want to free themselves from trading stress by planning the trades in advance and basing their decisions on statistical data.

What problems are solved by Strategy Checker™?

Although platforms and instruments for systematic trading offer a very high level of reliability and efficiency, they can’t always be blindly trusted. Problems may occur during live trading.

How Strategy Checker™ works

Strategy Checker™ works by sending traders real-time notifications directly to their smartphones via chat whenever something important happens at the trading station.

This way, the trader can calmly go about his work and other activities, knowing that no matter what happens, he will receive a notification via chat on his cell phone.

#1: 24/7 Monitoring

Strategy Checker™ monitors the activity of the MultiCharts trading platform and detects any significant problems or events during live trading, including: : 
  • Connection interruptions between the platform and the broker or the data flow  
  • Unscheduled reboots of the platform  
  • Sudden server shutdowns
  • MultiCharts or other systematic trading software (datafeed, broker platform, trading platform) shutdowns
  • Position-related misalignments between the platform and broker
  • Market entries of live strategies
  • Exits from positions with corresponding Profit/Loss
  • Any anomalies related to slippage
  • Slippage in market entry of strategies 
  • Disconnection of live strategies

Monitoring these events allows for optimal management of issues that may arise during live trading and eliminates the need to log into the platform frequently to find out what is happening to your strategies.

#2: Real-time notifications

Strategy Checker™ sends real-time notifications directly to the trader’s cell phone.

Notifications are received within seconds of the detected event, providing the trader with the possibility to take immediate action to resolve any issues.

Installing a remote desktop connection application on the smartphone makes it possible to connect to the trading station and take action within minutes.

You can finally devote your time to work, sports, family, or any other activity thanks to real-time notifications. You’ll be able to solve any problems immediately to avoid nasty surprises.

#3: Integration with Telegram

Strategy Checker™ uses Telegram messaging to communicate with the trader. Thanks to a special bot, the software sends notifications as messages inside a virtual chat.

This chat not only allows receiving notifications but also allows the trader to communicate with the software and request information about the platform's status and live strategies.

With a few simple keywords, you can ask the software about your live strategies, the amount on your linked trading accounts, the Profit & Loss of each strategy, and the proper function of the platform.
